Does Powerlifting help CrossFit & how to squat 3x bodyweight

At the beginning of 2017, I set myself a number of ambitious training goals:

  • squat 3x bodyweight
  • 30 unbroken muscle ups
  • 30 unbroken HSPU
  • run 1600m under 5min
  • run 400m under 50sec.

In July, I ticked the first one off with the help and expertise of Amir Fazeli from Adonis Athletics.

Last week, I was invited back onto The Mind Muscle Project‘s After Show.

In this latest episode, Raph, Lachlan and I talk about my powerlifting experience and the carry over to CrossFit.
